Would be cool on a K5 that didn't run a top.

I think it would make the odds of hitting a parking meter at the mall more likely[IMG]

LOL, odds of hitting a parking meter, :) , I think I'd probably just take the word odds out of the sentance all together, I"m gonna hit the parking meter if I had that

gotta say id like it on my burban might be a bear to fit and open the cargo doors but would make parallel parking more fun
considering i aim right for the parking meters

That is something like what I am planning to do to my truck. I am going to tie the section in back of the back wheel to the frame for added strength.

  11. I like it. Saw something similar in the 4 Wheel Parts mag on another 'Yota. I too am thinking of fabricating something like that. Sure would be nice insurance if you departure angle is not quite enough.

I had something very similar to that planned. Hadn't planned to go as high up on the corners, but it's something to think about. Looks like it ties into the tire carrier too. Just have to wait two more weeks for the 1.5" die and then I'm bendin' again.

What I like about that bumper is the way the tire carrier swings out, or at least it looks like it does. Other than that I could go without the light protectors.. it just looks like it could get hung on something.
