What do you think of this: classified users rating system, this is a rating system for when members buy / sell / trade items from each other in the classified section.

    Features:
    ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
    • Rate another member: Positive / Negative / Neutral
    • Specify in each transaction: Buyer, Seller, or Trade
    • Leave multiple comments about the deal
    • Dates & IPs are all recorded to prevent abuse
    • Specify a thread URL to the deal
    • Advanced URL checking
    • Display ratings over time
    • Filter based on Buyer/Seller/Trade/or feedback they left for others
    • Users can edit/delete ratings left for others (time based limitation)

I've seen a similar system used on other sites, and I feel it helps save a lot of headache on the part of the buyer.

Looks great. All feedback would be able to be found in just one location?

Looks good. But does this make more work for you / site endorsing selling....?

Being an ebay user I appreciate feedback and history for buying and selling.

Could this be a step towards turning this sight into a parts auction site similar to Ebays? Copying Ebay's proven business model here could turn you a pretty penny or two of profit :D.

That looks really nice. Feedback is essential to buying & selling on the web. The better the feedback system, the more transactions that will occur, so better for us!

There would be a link under everyone's location/posts info that shows on every post that goes to this info, basicly just like ebay.

Well here's the deal, it's not to bad if I keep to one forum style or skin, if I were to have multiple styles then it can become a pain keeping up with all the skins, things slip through the cracks that way.

Not really, that's what ebay is for, this will be much cheaper as it would simply be another standard Member feature. :D
