I am twin sticking my 205 while I do a motor/tranny swap in my /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif and I was looking for cool ideas for new shifter knobs. I have seen Bob the Knob and read about somebody using hand grenades. What else do you guys use? Any suggestions?

Also, for those in the twin stick crowd, where did you find your shifter boots?

I saw one somewhere that was made out of an old piston from a dirt bike, just cleaned up and polished. Cool idea and it looked good too.

I have Atlas II shifter nobs. They look good and have the pattern on the top and the pattern is the same as a twin stick 205. /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

No. 7 pool ball on the T/C. Chucked it up in the lathe and drilled & tapped it.
Stock knob on the column shifter.

I've always wanted to make one out of a baseball.

McMaster-Carr has a good selection of all kinds of knobs. So does Reid Tool.

I have a pineapple grenade /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif. Looks badass. I imagine they would frown on it if they found out at school... BTW, whats bob the knob? I've heard of it before but never seen it. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

well since you need 2 shift knobs and they will be right next to each other, why not tap out some pool balls (i.e. "8" and repaint another 8 ball with "0") to show the year of your truck. My buddy used the solid orange one and put "72" on his orange 72 jimmy, kinda looks like the 76 ball /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
