Just kinda wondering because I feel I paid 90.00 for some stuff that looks and feels and dry's the same as a 10.00 can of ROOF TAR.

Well, I don't know exactly what it is but I really don't think it's roofing tar. Should be a urathane with ground rubber it.
I have not used it but from reports of friends and the net, it seems to be pretty good for the money. It ain't Rino Liner but it will work. Same stuff as Duraback I believe for cheaper.
One 'Do it yourself" bedliner to stay away from-GatorGrip. I think that was the name, might have been Gatorback. Can't remember for sure but it is Gator-something. A friend used it is his truck. The stuff chaulks bad-real bad, in about a year! It is also not very durable.
