I have exactly the same stuff you do and I just use gear lube in all of it. The 80W90 kind or whatever its called. If you have a limited slip diff in the rear axle you need to use another type of gear lube made for that, but otherwise it won't matter.

I just changed the fluid in my NP205 yesterday. I used Dexron III-ATF Fluid. I was told that was the fluid to use. Am I right? I hope so. But it sure didn't look like or was as thick as the previous fluid that was already in the case.

ATF is sometimes specified for the NP205 when connected to an automatic trans. Gear oil is always used when you have a manual (SM465) trans. Either one is OK for the t-case. I think they spec. ATF for t-cases used with automatics because the rear seal in the TH350 often leaks and mixes ATF with whatever is in the NP205 anyway. It is better to have all ATF than a mixture of the two.

Thanks Tim, I'm soon replacing my NP203 with a NP205 that is sitting on my garage floor. I have a TH350 and assumed that all NP205's used gear oil.
