4.56 would be good for both street and trail. You'll kick yourself later if you get 4.11's...unless you want to drive 90 down the highway for sustained periods of time...then the 4.11's would help you out.

Doesn't that tire size thing just burn ya Frank? The only tires I've found that are near to true for size is my 36" Swampers...more than half worn and they still measure at 35 1/4" tall.

I run 3.73's with mine...its OK, but I have a 4 speed so I don't worry about burning up my trans. My cruise RPM is about 2500 at 70 MPH...

I'm running 4.10's with 36's , mainly because thats what was in the axels when i swapped them, but if i had my choice i'd prefer a little lower gear, 4.56 or maybe even 4.88 if i had an overdrive. 4.10's will be ok but if you think you'll ever go bigger, or want it to jump better off the line, go lower.

Well, i live in southern cali so there will be a lot of highway driving going on to get the wheeling spots plus all the normal highway stuff i do just getting around town. i think ill try the 4.11's. That should be better for the highway right?

I'd stay with 4.11's if you do a lot of highway and 4.56 if yer mostly in town. I'm eventually going to swap to 4.56's but I plan on 38's as well.
