What goes in this spot on my 69\'s dash?

At the bottom of my guage cluster I have Batt, Temp, BLANK, oil pressure. What goes in the blank spot? I have noticed that most trucks don't have anything in this spot either. Was it a clock?? Thanks

Either a gas gauge or a clock. If your ordered the optional tach (rare), the tach went where the fuel guage is and the fuel gauge went in the open spot.

Mine is a 69. I know what you mean, but that is on the 73-87 models. Thanks

That spot is for either an air pressure guage or a vaccuum guage found on the larger trucks 67-72 with air brakes. Some people are finding them popular for their air bag equipped low riders.

Shawn, I have the factory tach in my 71 and it goes in between the gas guage and the speedometer. HYPERMAN is right, the empty spot is for the pressure guage for on the 67-72 dump trucks and heavy-duty trucks that had air brakes(they used the same cab as the lighter trucks).

I wouldn't mind having a vaccuum gauge to fill the void. Anybody have one?
