I have posted this before, and didnt really get an answer. Noonne knew what happened to it.

Does anyone remember the Blazer built by Four Wheel and Off Road Magazine? It was an 80's model w/ a BBC, and I think 1 ton axles.

I am just curious, That Blazer is what got my interest in Blazers. And I would like to know what ever happened to it, and see it if its still alive.

I have every issue of that build up from 4 WOR. [IMG]

BTW, that was a Jimmy, not a Blazer, and it was a 70's model with a newer 80's model front clip. [IMG]

Yep, it ran a 454, 400, 203, D60's front and rear, and was built up by the crew at 4WPW. [IMG]

8" front and rear Superlift springs, tons of shocks, 3" body lift, Bushwacker cut-out flares, 42" Swampers, crossover steering, and a fancy (at that time) paint job.

Yeah, I wonder where it's at today, too. [IMG]

I'm getting a scanner for X-mas. When I get it, remind me to print off every issue for everybody here to view for their enjoyment!! [IMG]

Thanx Wes! I used to have all the buildup too...But I got into an arguement w/ an X-G/F that I lived w/ about all my magazines, and took em out back and dumped gas on all of them and lit it up. [IMG] Made a nice bonfire for a while tho, watched em burn and drank a beer (or 12) [IMG]. All that paper stacked burned real slow. LOL! I sure do miss my magazines. [IMG] Ill try to remember to remind you to scan them, Id like to read it all again.

Why don't you email Cole Quinnell? I've emailed him before and he even emailed me pics of his Orange pick up before they trashed it.

Yeah, he seems to be a cool guy. He emailed me pics when I asked him why he had not posted pics in the mag with the 44s he installed.

Yeah, it was knows as The General. They rolled it soon after they put the 44s on. There was an article right before Cole left on fitting 44s on it. When I heard Cole was leaving 4WOR I emailed him and asked him why they had not published any photos of the truck on 44s. He said at the time they had not taken any photos of it after that. Then a couple of months later they had the article on the rollover. Here is the link you're looking for bro':

OH OK now I understand! In fact I didnt even know Cole left. I let my subscription run out(after almost 20 yrs) Because 4wheel and fourwheeler were getting too alike. I prefered the direction fourwheeler was going so I kept it. I only buy 4wheeler if I hear of something good now.

Thanx for the link. I was making it 4wheel&offroad.com
