Almost all of my previous difficult trail runs were spotted by firefighter184. But this last trail, the most difficult trail I've ever run, he abandoned me. And some other fellow CK5ers too.

    AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENS!!

And I wasn't the only victim of his neglect!

And to top it off, Storm Trooper is threatening to revoke my membership in the Sheet Metal Gang! :frown1:

Burblover (firefighter184's alternate) has a theory that if he takes pics of all the hard obstacles he can then study them at home and the NEXT trip he will get you on the best line. :D

I think I have. Is his the one that has the grill cut out for the winch, and there's more dented metal than straight?

Oh, and I forgot two more pictures:
Had to bang the front of the door in with a sledge to get it open. :frown1:

Luckily only rust was scraped off and there's no deep gouges. I thought for sure the drive shaft was a goner.

That describes most of the rigs up here, all but mine anyway. I'm afraid if I start hanging out with them too much I might start to fit in! You can find pics of most of them at krazyk5
So is this the beginning of the end for your truck? That's how it all starts, you're always careful until after that first big dent...

I'll make sure to be there next time guys. The guy who has my motor is jerking me around. Every time I ask him, he says "Oh yeah, we'll be all set in another couple of days", yet he's had the gawddamned thing for 7 weeks now. I'm getting VERY pissed off. Summer is short!

Dude, mines cherry  And poohbair is the one who cut out his grill for his winch, mine is not there yet haha. But in the PNW dents happen, lots of trees and tree roots to hang you up. Most of mine lately have come from getting pissed off and hitting an obsticle with a little skinny pedal.

hey, something i have noticed is that the driver's side is always messed up more than the passenger side. i thought that the driver would be able to see what he is gonna hit. but mine is the same way. funny, eh?

Without John spotting it's Anarchy on the trail. You might as well push a quadriplegiac on quaaludes down the trail in his chair with a blindfold and a Marlboro.

I think Mark set you guys up. "Justa bit more - that's it - little to your left - little more - SCRAAAAAAAAPE - Oh yea - great pic for my photography class - I'll definately get an A from that hot blonde teacher - she loves action shots".

    :rotfl:

You guys are starting to worry me, maybe I should reconsider buying an old beater truck.

Now wait a minute, I was just kidding.
You all feel bad about the damage and that's what counts.
Remember, $hit happens and my truck has taken some hits too.
Sorry about the spotter thing but you can't get down on someone that at least trys (well kinda trys).
It's all a matter of someone or all steping up to watch out for each other. You can't blame just one. Where were the other guys when someone was trying an obstical???????
There's also the "Hey! maybe we should pull you out before you hit the side?"
It takes a lot to keep it straight and team work.
Those little dents don't change things or get you revoked, fix um.
BTW, I don't revoke anyone, they revoke themselves :D when they give up and hammer it / don't care.
Here's what a poor spotter did to me -
    [IMG]

Now that can get your shorts wet
