What happens when you put a POS subwoofer in a sealed sub box? FIXED!

    My ported box was taking up too much room, so, after checking out the specs on the speakers, and finding out that they were ok for a sealed box, I decided to go that route to save space.
    Apparently, one of the speakers had a small hole in it.

    Oops. I guess it just wasn't up to doing it's job. Time to buy a new set!

    (edit) Just traded a friend for a cell phone I had:

    It's a dual 10" bandpass box. Sounds better than my dual 12's...

    I have an Infinity Kappa 12" sub in a sealed box behind the seat of my regular cab F-250. With a Sony class D 600 watt mono sub amp pushing it. It gives the seat a heartbeat. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
