what hoods will fit?

    What year Chevy's can I scavenge a hood off of that will fit a '78 K5? I need the hinges also.

    I have one from my 74 but, the front lip has large rust holes in it and one of the corners is kinked and it doesn't close all the way. It will probably be worse than the one you currently have. Plus its still on the Blazer right now.

    Make SURE you don't need new hinges. Mine were worn out, and it made the back of the hood sit up about 3". Couldn't ever adjust it out.

    Best bet is to change over to the 81-91 front clip. More rust free stuff out there, and improved hood reinforcement and hinge/spring ass'y.
