When you have spent 99.9% of the 89,600 miles at the controls of a car, you tend to learn a lot about it.

I have learned that my patrol car loves the cold weather and that it absolutely detests hot weather.

I have learned that it loves a good washing and waxing every once in awhile, even for being a county car.

I have learned that it loves some rocking, kick ass music blaring over the sound system.

Today, I learned that it does not like those "flogging the piss out of it" runs through city streets. It loves them when the go pedal is held to the floor for a good ten minutes, but when in town, it definately does not like that kind of treatment.

Those boys that wear blue, they can keep that brake and hammer driving stuff and I'll keep my hammer down for days on end.

I do not like to finally get stopped and get out and find plumes of smoke escaping from the brakes.......................................:D

Oh that's just the brakes breaking themselves in. No need to worry.

Nope, car is still operational. Even the brakes still work, which can be important at times:D
