What Is A Divorced T-Case?

    What exactly is a divorced 205 transfer case? Maybe this is a stupid question, but I just cant think what that could mean. Does it just mean it isnt attached to the tranny anymore? Also, what would "passenger side frt shaft output" mean? Please let me know... TIA!!!

    <font color=blue>You're right, its not actually bolted to the trans, its connected by a short driveshaft. The good part about this is you can drop the t-case without tilting the motor. Plus, it allows you to use identical driveshafts front and rear so you dont have to carry as much. Passenger side front output means the front driveshaft is on the passenger side, like on our trucks. Its probably from a Dodge pickup</font color=blue>
