I am looking for a good daily/crawler tires. I would like to get MT/R's but they do not come in a 16.5" rim. Does anyone have any sugestions on tires?
Also do anyone know how good the BFG Krawler tires are and what sizes they come in.

    Thank you.

that is recommended rim size for 38.5/16/16.5 TSLs
I dont think they are 'good' or DD friendly.
if Interco would have them made round they are a nice size

I have to agree with the other guys. I have the 38.5/16/16.5 TSLs w/beadlocks so the lack of a inside saftey bead is not that big of a deal and for daily driver, without cut out fenders, it wouldn't be good. Are these for your 87 or 79? and what axles are you running/gears?
I would think you would want to stay around 33" for DD and get some other rims. It's all how you will use the truck.
Now if it was just to wheel then I love them. Here take a look - My Truck w/38.5's

Hee Hee Hee......that's for sure! 1000 miles to Moab....1000 miles home.....I had plenty of time to ponder their non-roundness, as my truck shook itself to pieces.

    Storm Trooper,
These are for my '87. I have a 14 B FF in the rear and have my D60 on the way. I will be running hummer rims, thats why I am limited to 16.5x9.75. And no I am not getting rid of them. I was thinking about 16x10 TR beadlockers but there to expensive for me. I will be running 4.56 gears and a detroit locker in the 14 B and a linkin lock in the D60.
I will be cutting my finders and also doing a 1 front and a 1.5" off set.
Let me know what you thing thanks Storm Trooper

Well that doesn't sound like much of a daily driver to me and with all the work in it, I would go with the TSL 38.5x15.5x16.5's but that is NOT a good tire for the DD.
Now as for wheel'in /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif it's another story. Sounds like your set-up is really close to mine and I love mine. I guess you need to refresh us on what you really need??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
    I'd say buy the tires and get a 350 Vega for a DD /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
If it is a DD then get something a little less meaty, radial and a little smaller. Oh! and don't forget something round! hehe /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
