ITs where you drive your truck into deep mud that you know you cant make it through. Your motor boogs out and then your screwed, then you get pulled out and go replace everything that the mud destroyed, less you got a 12 bolt front then you'd be ok.[IMG]

    Ha, ha

usually a 250 foot mud pit ( some are shallow- many are deep) where different class trucks race through.
You have from stock to nitrous trucks.

It is either measured by the greatest distance if no one makes it through or fatest time

You get two shots at the pit.

Scores are either added up as best run or combined runs.

It actually is a lot of fun

I agree!! The 12 bolt front will propel ANY truck thru a mud bog, completely!! [IMG]

There's something about those 12 bolt front axles that make them that much better than any 10 bolt or D44 front axle!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I'm not picking my nose...I'm just pointing at my brain!! [IMG]

If your motor bogs down, you have problems. Lack of power and/or gearing.

Then its time for the big block!!!

Ummmm....how do you get to be "Top Truck" level poster and not know this?

How many posts does it take to get "Top Truck"? Were any of those posts pics of a 12b front?

    Different people- do different wheeling,
that's why it's so great to be able to ask on this site

Yup, bogs take big hp and gearing if not it just swallows you up.

    Still fun no matter what

Hey, I'm thinking about swapping my Dana 60 with 4.56 and a Detroit if anyone has a stock 12 bolt front. Let me know, I want to upgrade but I can't afford to pay more than a few hundred difference...

  12. And if you have a 12 bolt front connected to an aluminum 205 you'll really kick ass! [IMG]

Me too. Rocks are what destroy sheetmetal and otherwise perfectly good parts.

    Mud = Forgiving, but dirty
Rocks = cleaner wheelin', but ruthless!

    Can someone help!?!?
I am looking to do an axle swap in my blazer, I want to upgrade to a stock 12.5" ring gear 16 bolt FF rear
and a stock 8.875" ring gear 12 bolt front end.
Will I have to lengthen/shorten driveshafts to my Beltdriven Aluminum NP205?
