What would it take a put a late 70's truck cab on an '87 K5 frame? I am trying to lose a little weight by replacing the K5 cab, top, doors, and tailgate w/ a truck cab, 1/2 doors, and a false boat-tailed bed. I have a little too much top and sheet metal to be running 4+ trails. Thanks for the info.

Just might have to pick up your cab too. I am starting to think that rolling is iminent. I need to prepare for it. Having an extra cab would be cool.
