I asked this about 4 weeks ago... everyone's opinion differed.. but the main thing was get greasable ones (dah) I just put new ones in on wednesday night.. Not by choice... hehehe... ANYWAYS... I put one superstrength from napa and one neapco from teh local driveshaft place here in town...
I'll let everyone know which blows up first...
I like the neapco ones... they looked stronger...

Um... yes officer I know it's too big...

I run Precision Heavy duty U-jt's... they are bigger then stock and greasable... I've never had a problem w/ them ever. I have also heard spicer is good... Just my .02 worth

When I did that same question a few months ago, everyone agreed on Spicer U-joints. So far so good.

Spicer u-joints are the way to go if you want reliability.

Re: what is the best brand of u-joint\'s?

I've spent $25bucks on a spicer in the past and it really didn't last any longer then any other u-joints I have purchased in the past. Last summer I bought some u-joints (dont know brand) from O'Rielys with the life time warranty for around $16 and have gotten 2 of them replaced for free. I even took one in with only 2 ends on it and they replaced it no problem. Don't read me wrong spicer's are probably better, but the 1 that I got for my rear drive shaft didn't last as long as I hoped.

$9.67each, Dude I got spanked!! I had a driveline shop rebuild my drive shaft and all they carried was spicer so I got one and they tacked on $25 bones and I put it in myself.

I run Brute Force from Autozone. These have a lifetime warranty so replacement is free. I have burned up a few, but they last as long as any other brand, and Ive tried them all! I have friends running them in 1000 HP plus Drag Cars! They will hold up.
