What is the differnce between a Jimmy and a Blazer between the years '87 and '88. I'm going to look at 1 tomorrow and it sounds too good to be true. He restored the truck, a 1987 Jimmy, new paint, rebuilt motor, trans and t-case. New tires, gas tank, tailgate, fully loaded, e tested and certified. Says he lost his job and needs cash. He only wants $4,000 Canadian so about $2600 American. If it is as he says I'll buy it anyway.
I have tons of parts for an '88 and '90 Blazer kicking around so I should have an excellent parts source for awhile, I hope.

The only difference is badging, grill, steering wheel etc etc. All cosmetic...

No sir it is a full size Jimmy. I know it is hard to believe. Like I said if it is even half as good as it sounds I'll take it. I'm going up to see it around noon. I'll let you know.
