What is this??? (something on the steering colum)

    What is the switch with a rod on it that is right next to the ignition switch on the steering colum on a 85 diesel? It only has 3 wires coming out of it? Heres a bad cell phone picture

    Are two of the wires tan and light green? If so then it's most likely the hi beam switch.

    yep i figured it out right after i made this post:doah: well im done putting in my clutch pedal, now monday alls i got to do is swap trannys
