What is this? wiring

    OK, What is this black box labeled "FA"? It has the brake light switch included also, one small end was pluged into the "AGK" the other plug ins I have no idea where they go. After unplugging from the AGK everything still runs normal, do I need this extra crap? :crazy: :D

    1990 K5, well if it's the cc module then I really don't need it.

    Is it the abs? If not I would also say cruise control. What year did they switch over to all electric?

    Pretty sure I've got one of those in my garage from my old 87. 87 didn't have ABS, but it did have cruise. I didn't notice any ill effects from removing it.

    You doing a full re-wire on your truggy Steve? Just wondering.. I'm gonna be in the same boat in my new-UAV-inspired rig. I just finished the final narrowing of the sheetmetal today... tube work will begin very soon...

    I will do the full rewire this winter, right now I am working on the dash and wanted to get rid of a few extra wires. :D

    Hey I was looking through some pictures of my truck for someone that posted that they needed "naked" shots of the dash when I remembered this thread from this morning. I found the same thing in my K10. Anyways not necessary at all but I figured I'd share.

    Speaking of wiring...what ever became of the IC i saw in a box at ord that belonged to the UAV? Did you use it?
