OK... I actually didn't measure this, but I'm curious how much lift everybody things these springs will provide... (these are the lift springs twocows will be getting for his stock springs)

where is the 4th spring? are they all front springs? If so, the first (front in picture) spring looks stock, or possibly very slightly lifted.. the two behind it look like about 2-2.5"

that is if they are all front springs

only front springs are exchanged... 2 taller ones are the springs I took off, and that I am giving to two cows, and the other spring is the stock spring off twocows k5 that is going on my k5... (I got 2 k5's so this one is going back to stock, the other has a 4" BDS lift)

It's hard to say. It looks like they could be 4" but no taller. They also look like 2.5" springs, too.

Do you know what brand those are?

nope... I have absolutely no idea what kind there are. there are some serial numbers on there, but nothing else that would give me any indication.

when I recently removed my stock front springs, they were FLAT. as in NO arc.. (negative arc when weight was applied)

here is a picture of all 4 springs with a 4-5" lift
    http://lagparty.org/~mike/4inchsprings.jpg

that is a SOLID 4" probably more like 5" .. thats why I say 4-5"

Are these 'serial numbers' stamped in or spray painted on them?

Give us the numbers and lets see what we can pull out.

too many springs in the pack... (picture doesn't show it good)... I really don't think they are stock, and there is too much lift in the springs unless they were rearched, but I don't really think so.

Mike, what brand are those springs you show in that pic?

I like those 'military wraps' around the front springs!! [IMG]

I would say they are a 2"-2.5". the flat one is stock. A 4" spring with no weight on it has a pretty good arch to it. The stock rears I got from Aaron(AGM73K5) look like lifted spring when they are laying on the ground, as do the ones on the chassis for the Willy's since there isn't a lot of weight on them either.

How many springs are in the spring pack? If its only 2-3 I would say its 2.5" If its more than its a good chance that its 4"

3 right now, but it looks like there were 1-2 springs pulled out. I'm thinking this started out to be a 4" spring, but is not somewhere between 2-3"...

in the picture you will notice that the eye holes on the taller springs are dropping over the sides more so when you actually line those 2 up it is a little taller then it looks.
