I know not everyone is driving their k's around all the time. Especially if it is your "project". So what else keeps you from walking?

Mine is an '84 BMW 745i. It is a true Euro car never released here in the states. It has an inline 6 and is turbo charged. Making about 400hp in it's current state and nearly 500 lb/ft of torque. This is at 15lbs of boost.

The car is an executive model. The back seats recline and there are radio controls in the REAR center arm rest. Everything is covered in Buffalo hide leather.

There were only a few hundred brought into the states by private individuals and no one is sure just how many are left. These were $80k cars prior to importation and federalization costs.

1994 Ford Ranger extended cab. It gets well over 20mpg and hauled my D60 and ff14b a couple of hundred miles one time. Best part: it was free. ;) :thumb:

when it goes belly up on me, I might get another one. I'll go with a slightly larger engine though. The 2.3 ain't worth much. One of them 3.0s would be better.

Oh man, thats a sick bimmer. I love the older ones.....at first glance i hoped it was a 6

I dd my blazer, but i ride a bike all the time locally.

In davis its the only way to go, more bikes/person i think than any city in teh state/maybe US.

Its quicker to bike than it is to drive to campus....too bad i cant' bike til feb cause of jaw surgery.

ANyways, i really want an old bimmer, not too much electronic stuff....the essence of driving!

Oh, and 3rd mode of transportation. When im drunnk, i ride my bike. (doesnt' endanger others, safer than driving), but i also bought an old school scooter with bike like tires to ride when im drunk.....

For my commute in traffic I drive '90 accord that just recently got side swipped by semi. I'm still driving it. I call it the cockroach because it just won't die.

Sweet bimmer (look it up, the cars are bimmers and the bikes are beamers). I had a '76 2002 that was my project for 9 years. I finally sold it to sink more money into my truck. I have regreted it every day since I sold it.
