I cant quite count the lugs on it, 5 or 6, not sure. It looks like it has a 4wd solenoid on the right side of the pic. Looks like it may be some GM front. New Silverado?

    Ahh OK. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

But actually an IRS would have knuckles too. Theyd just have fixed "tie rods".

So the Cobra IRS has an off set pumpkin, and a lock-out actuator? I guess they'd need to be able to disconnect so it's easier to tow them to the dealership for repairs huh?

its not out of a cobra, cobras have equal, full length CV shafts in the rear, centered pumpkins too..looks like an s-series or toyota IFS setup..

::edit:: it looks like a ford front end to me, maybe new style explorer, f150 or expedition, ill have to peep at them today and look ::edit::

I am goign to guess that its a front axle due to where the calipers mount although there are no mounts for the tierods for steering unless they're ont he frotn where ya cant see them.

I am going to say its a front set-up for a tracker/sidekick or sometype of AWD mini van or something...
