Do ostriches live in? I don't want a continent or province or anything. Like how warm/cold. I think it'd be so neat If I had a pet ostrich! Build a little run for it. I'd be the coolest cat on this side of the galaxy /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

pretty sure their only really native to austrailia so you might have a hard time going from nice and warm to downright hot as hell to cold and colder in the great white north. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

There used too be a ostrich farm here in the Black Hills. I don't know if it's still there or not, but those things put off a powerfull stink.

Those things are mean as hell. We had a farm buy our house once and one of the birds killed the farmer. Then the others pecked and stomped his body. Those birds are EVIL!

Ostriches are native to Africa. Emu's are from Australia.
They can live in most all climates if they have a warm place to get out of the cold.
There is a Ostrich farm here where I live and it gets -30 in the wintertime. They do fine in cold weather.
If yur hungry there aint nothing better than an Ostrich omlette. Ostrich burgers are pretty good too /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
