I'm getting all my gears, axles and stuff installed tomorrow. Finally.
I'm putting an Eaton limited slip in the rearend and was wondering what kind of gear lube y'all are using. I know I need one that has an LSD additive, but what brands? Also, should I get a synthetic or just a regular one.
One more thing. The Eaton website said that if you use a synthetic gear lube, that you should NOT use an RTV sealant to put the diff. cover back on. OK, fine, but what else is there. I thought all those sealants were about the same as RTV. What else is there besides just the thin crappy gasket?
