what kind of screws are these? holley guys?

    ok im rebiulding a holley 600 carb, and theres the aluminum plate on the throttle body held on with 6 screws, that of which i dont know what kind of heads these are to take them out /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif this is my first time rebiulding one so im not 100% on what is what...but does any one know what screws these are? i would post a pic but my battery is dead..

    secondary metering plate uses screws called 'clutch style'
    a small flat screwdriver carefully applied will work

    hmm ok ill try that.

    then the block with the lean mixutre screws on it must be the metering BLOCK then?? im ganna have to go out and get me a book here pretty quick..

    yes that is the metering block
    most 600s have the plates in place of a block on the sec side
    the mixture screws you are refering to are just for idle mixture

    i dunno, but this aluminum plate was behind the block on the secondary side. and yea i got it out fine with the flat head...dunno why i didnt think of that /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
