thats the truth, back when we used to booze and wheel i can't tell you how many beer cans met their demise on the windshield or dash. LOL trying to change a CD HA yea right. getting air really challenged the rubber mounts on the CD player. but for the most part ALPINE is the whip.:D

Ihave to completely pay attention to what I'm doing. Since I have a DD now, I doubt I'll even have a stero in my truck. Cheap power inverter and a boombox at most

Depends on what I'm doing, blasting the dunes or mudding, its useually metal of some sort, if its crawling, or trails I like to just listen to the engine. But it really all depends on what mood I'm in.

prefer to listen to the motor. Don't like making people listen to what I want to listen to, and I like to hear any noise my rig makes. If I hear a clank when I hit a mud hole I know to look for something loose or whatever.

us hillbillies gotta have the dualin banjos playing in the back ground.

i listen to country most of the time, but sometimes it classic rock. but its so low that you only can hear it when stopped, gotta hear the motor.

I listen to the engine...the last thing I need is something breaking while I can't hear it and i'm listening to music.

I listen to something fast and loud, like Metallica, Saliva, Korn, some of Seether's hard stuff on the way to the trail, but as soon as it goes in 4wd, the music goes off.

Deathmetal, mang. No, not really. I don't even listen to the radio or my mp3 player when wheeling anymore. Some superdouche always whines about my Pearl Jam or my 'Chains or my Metallica.

In my wheeling rig I removed the radio and all the wiring for it... and the speakers... and the wires to the speakers... and the speaker brackets. I figure I never listen to it when wheeling anyway and every pound I can shave off the rig is one less I have to lose. haha.

From what I understand, if you listen to Metallica - So What while being stupid you don't mind if your valves floating become your rev limiter or not. I have yet to test this theory.

i watch the tach,i need on in this truck.so i don't over rev it,but as far as things breaking if the truck stops moving i guess i'll find out then. the first few times i wheel JR, i won't listen to anything cuz its all pretty much new and i want to hear the parts falling off that i forgot to tighten down. before i changed everything on it it was myDD also. so i knew every creak and bang. mufflers seem to be the thing i lose the most:confused: no matter how tight i get em.:)
