    Found this somewhere and had to post it. Please come and ask here before you attempt anything like this on your K5.

    Ask the folks in New Jersey how hard it is to get a lifted truck to pass their special inspection there. Engineering nightmares like this are why they started doing the special inspections! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif If it ain't done right, you can't get it registered. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    This stuff is for real. People really do this.
    I actually saw a Chevy drag link 'modified' in such as way that it was a chunk of plate steel (maybe 1/2") with DLE's welded, by the threads, to it. One at the top of the left side, one at the bottom of the right side. Nice dropped draglink /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

    the guy claiming it wouldnt bumpsteer due to the "force transference" complete with a photoshopped diagram explaining the magical principle....priceless.
    I saved the image to my HDD and quoted his post so it wouldnt be edited.
