the LMC catalog list replacement rear mount tanks in their truck cataloge for the years 75-81. i've never seen a pickup from those years with a rear mount tank. has anyone else? where was the filler tube? did they come with different cross members for the tank?

GM only used side saddle tanks. Not sure if the dual tank option had them on both sides or one behind the other. That might be what they are referring to.

It's supposedly optional on a 1-ton cab & chassis. Not sure how that was possible though since it would get in the way of the right-hand shock. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Unless it was really short and only held 20 gallons.

I put a 31-gallon Blazer tank in my crewcab... had to delete the shock /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
    blazer tank swap
