What pressures to use on torch??

    I just got a set of regulators and tanks!! What should the pressures for the Oxygen and Acetylene be set at?? Is there a chart somewhere??

    Easy. For cutting, 40 psi oxy, 7 psi acetelyne.

    Set the torch by sound with a nutral flame(you do know what a nutral flame is right?) and very how hot it is by how it sounds. There is a reason most acetelene gauges go into the red after 15 outlet pressure. DONT GO OVER THAT!!!! You should try to get a book on welding with an Oxy set up.

    Hopefully you know how to use them. If not DON'T USE THEM!!!!! You can get seriously hurt with improper use. Depends on what brand your useing to what the pressure should be. Look up the company and give them a call. If it's Victor, they have a very handy chart that i keep handy.
