Well, you asked...........

PT Cruisers might look cool to some, as do the new Volkswagen Bug...............but to others, they are a waste of a good idea. Underpowered, wimpy vehicles...........[IMG] for that kind of $$, they should have put some balls under the hood.

No offense.............

Take the money that you would spend on the wimpy PT Cruiser and make one hell of a trail rig out of one of your K5's and keep the other for the street. Just my $.02

<Insert evil Tim Allen grunts here> [IMG] Hmm, got a big 4x4 and a small Tonka car. Sounds like the making of a moster truck derby to me! ;-) You can drive over the PT Cruiser with EITHER of the K5's! Be sure you post pictures!

that was my other idea....my 88 has a new motor and new tranny, rebuil rear end and transfer case has been gone threw...new paint job and new carpet...it like a new truck now...but the 72 is rough and needs alot of work.
i think thats what ill do...take the 500 that would be my payments and fix up the 72 and 500 a month instead..
thanks for the advice

Chaz

500 a month for a POS criuser Dont do it!!!! It is a huge waste of money for a little V W square back wana be car. You can get a hell of a lot more car for 500 a month. If you must have a car.Take a look at the new Pontiac Bonnivilles. Totally Hot. Great cars. And you can wave at all the cruisers as you blow em off the road.

I have heard nothing but bad things from the 2 people that attend my church about the PT Crusiers they have bought. I'd take the money you'd be spending on that and do something else with it. (I have a Dodge Neon. It's a been nothing but junk. My mom now owns a Plymouth Sundance...junk as well. I think anything made by them is pretty crappy. That's my personal opinion...don't buy their brand!)

Good choice not getting the PT Cruiser. All they are is a Neon with a different body on them. They shoulda made them bigger with a panel option so they actually looked like an old panel van.

I rented a PT for a week and wasn't very impressed with it. They just aren't big enough to make a useful vehicle. Very little trunk space and gas mileage isn't anything special. They could also use more power. It's a cool concept, just not very well executed.

Good job! I would buy a Ford before I would buy a Mopar,
Unless it was one of there muscle cars. The folks had nothing but troubles with there Chrysler Concord.
