Subject pretty much covers it. I have an 86 NP208. I need to get my shaft in so I can wheel this weekend. These 4 bolts are the last thing I need to be ready to go! I had one guy tell me it was a fine thread 3/8, but I have coarse thread. So I got 3/8 coarse. They fall right thru. Another guy told me it was some oddball bolt I needed to get at GM. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif Before I head back to the hardware store again in the morning, what size do I need? 7/16 coarse maybe? If it is a GM thing (which I dont possibly imagine) Ill go there if I have to.

I pulled the bolts from my bro's np241, which fit a 208, into my 203 and then into my 205; so yes, they are all the same size. They are 7/16, coarse thread I believe. You might want to put lock washers or loctite or something else on them as they tend to loosen up after a while.

Got it handled guys thanx! They turned out to be 7/16 coarse. Unfortunately I got 1 bolt wrong and wheeled today w/ only 3 bolts on the flange. I totally forgot it today while we were out. LOL! Hey if 4 holds real good, 3 will hold good enuff! /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

Yeah it wasnt the brightest move Ive made. I meant to swing into the hardware store this morning and get another on our way out, but totally spaced it out till I made that post. On the brite side I only had it in 4wheel for about 15 seconds all day. It kept trying to pop out and grinding while I was holding the shifter. I think I have some adjusting to do to the shifter. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
