What size bolts for 1st gen double wall hardtop?

    I bought a double wall hardtop, but need the bolts for it.....any one know what size? Also small or large thread?

    I believe mine have a 9/16 head coarse thread and they are automotive type bolts with the end coming to a point.

    hmmm..ok. I've heard 7/16, 9/16....I wish I new for sure. The 7/16 was too big. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

    the newer ones are 9/16" head, making them a 3/8" bolt

    If you want me to, tomorrow I can pull one out of my 70 and take it to the hardware store. Are you talking about the bolts that hold the top to the truck? PM me.
