    Hey,
What size bolt holds factory rear springs together ? i need a set for an add-a-leaf. 82 blazer
How do i measure for the rear spring frame shackle size for Energy suspension bushings ? They have two parts numbers---
    1. for 67-87 1.5 inch main eye and 1.5 inch shackle
    2. for 81-87 1.5 main eye and 1 3/8 inch shackle

How do i measure for this ? on the vehicle or must i take the springs out to do so ?
    thanks guys and gals,
    Blake

If you have a pair of calipers, you can use them to measure the bushing diameter. You may be able to eyeball it with a tapemeasure.

I dont know the bolt size for the spring bolt. I need to find this out also so I know what size to drill my perches.

I talked to thatk30guy and he says all of the rear spring pins he has seen are 3/8 inch style, which is what my guess was.

So, i have no calipers..Is that bushing the I.D. or the O.D. ??

The 1.5" or 1.375" is the bushing OD, which would be the spring eye ID.

    Hey useyourblinker,
You got the 1 3/8 style ? Did you just order them or have you used them yet ? i really don't want to have my truck laying on jack stands for 3 days while i wait for bushings to come.
Anyone ever order new bushings for the rear shackle or what ?? should i just get the bushings for the spring itself and measure the frame shackle while the spring is out and then order the shackle bushing seperatly ? Or just order both sizes and return the unused set ?

Youre profile doesnt list what you drive, might want to fill it out.

My 86 K10 has the 1 3/8" frame shackle bushings. If I were you, Id just order both and return the ones you dont need. I hate getting into a project only to find I got the wrong parts.
