I'm hoping that someone can tell me what size of tubing fits over the bleed valve on my brakes(84 K5)- it looks pretty small. Is it better to use clear tubing or can a guy get away with using vacuum line?

Best I can remember it was 1/8" line. I think I ended up getting vacuum line, it was all they had in 1/8". I asked for a bleeder screw and then matched the tubing in the store.

I use a piece of 3/16" oxygen tubing - it's clear and works great. You can pick up a standard 10' at any home health/medical supply for less than $2.
