what size yoke on this axle

Discussion in 'The Garage' started by **DONOTDELETE**, Jan 1, 2003.

its a 14b ff from a 1990 k30 crewcab, i thought it would be a 1350, but i already have a 1350 on my truck and it doesnt fit, the caps on my u joint seem too big.

I have never heard of a 14 bolt with anything other than a 1350 (except, of course, when someone puts on a 1410 aftermarket.)
I really don't think there is a yoke smaller than 1350 for it.
Post a pic of it and the 1350 ujoint.

EDIT: I can't help but wonder if maybe it's the 9.5" 14 bolt? Are you sure it's a FF?

both the 1350 and the 1330 are 3 1/4 inches across caps... the 1330 uses 1 and 1/16 inch caps, the 1350 uses 1 and 3/16 caps...hope this helps...

    <~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~STUPID!
turns out there was a thick layer of rust and paint on the yoke so i just wirebrushed it off and the u joint went right in /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
