Just got my 35" SSR's and will need a full size spare, what are you guys running? Same as what you got on the corners? Just curious if anyone uses a smaller width or different tread tire as the spare since these things weight so much.

haha wait till you see my setup. Gonna have the spare up on the bars above the fuel cell on the buggy, and its a 42 TSL, it was a pain lifting it into the burb by myself.

44's on the ground and a full size spare. I was thinking about mounting it on the hood like those old land cruisers. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

I run usually 5 matching 37" MTR's. Now my spare is a 37" PJ cause I popped an MTR and they are still on friggin' back order (since December).

    What's a spare? /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Been meaning to get one of those for a while. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Actually I'm going to have four 315/75R16s soon, just use one of those if I need a spare.

I used to run 4 33x12.50 BFG AT's with a 33x12.50 BFG AT spare. I just got 4 35x12.50 BFG Baja TA's and am going to run whatever 35" tire I can get for a good deal as a spare. A fullsize is always a good idea. /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

i run 37x12.5x15 MTRs. my spare is a well used 37x12.5x15 GSA(desert racing tire) the thing is not hiway legal, torn up from being raced on, and the compound is hard as a damn rock. i really hope i never need it because trail or street, its gonna suck.
