Spicer all the way!!!! I had a driveline vibration that was caused by using other brands of U joints (had to replace one in a pinch and had to settle for the parts store brand). You could actually move the driveshaft side to side after it was all together.. Went away when I put in Spicer's.

Hey boys the original spicer was good- but now spicers 5-153x is a neapco look alike- you only get the good stuff using the oem now- 5-625x non greaseable- if you ask me thats a crock - spicer is messin up to say it nicely-

Ya but how good is a warranty when you're stuck on the side of a trail with a broken U joint and a bent driveshaft???????

    Are they greasable?

This is a post I've been waiting to see. My Blazer goes through at least a set of u-joints per year. I also have a vibration up to about 45 MPH then it smooths out. I have been using a greasable type I don't know what brand, and I've been greasing it every 3K miles.

Maybe all I need is to buy the Spicers???

Which is the best? Greasable or non-greasable?

My Blazer is an 86 w/ 350, 700R-4, 3:73 gears so are these part numbers for my application? 5-153x & 5-625x?

    Thanks for the help.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

The best ujoint is the one that comes with a lifetime warranty.
AUtozone sells non-greasable 'Brute Force' ujoints, lifetime. I have not had one fail yet, but if I ever have any problems, I can get new ones!

yours is the 2-3011 neapco or 5-3147x spicer we hope anyways- and its called 3r style- there not great for angle and big tires - but the good news is it can be upgraded to all one ton easily give me a ring for a quote- 530-872-5725

Mike that's actually a neapco joint and the parts stores sell you on the lift time deal- i gues we are all suckerd in from time to time- they will sell you oil - spark plugs etc every time you go to waranty your life time joints- if it works for you then do it- jesse
