What tiers are the government using on the CUCV M1009 now?

    I am trying to keep my M1009 original as possible. It has Goodyear wrangler ATs on there now. I just found out they are not made anymore. Thanks for the help! Mike

    whichever a/t tire is the cheapest. I used to know a guy at our tire shop here at Nellis AFB, and about 1 1/2 years ago i know they were using the bridgestone dueler A/T's quite a bit on the K5's and broncos we have here.

    It was out here a couple of days ago, it has the HUMMWV M/Ts but Ill look for it with a camra in the morning. The other ones have GY A/Ts

    sorry, it must have jumped north. but it was green cammo with 37" goodyear MT HUMMWV tires on the stock rims and they cut the bottom of the fenders didnt look like too much wheel travel though. /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif

    military hummers came with 37" goodyears. we have them in our shop all the time. Don't know about the 1009's. I just heard through the grape vine that swamper got a deal with the government. SX's from what I was told.
