I run mine at 32 any less than that and my mileage drops significantly

With 35 inch BFG Mud Terrains on a K5, mounted on 10-inch wide wheels, I've found that 24 PSI up front and 22 out back keeps all the tread on the road so that they wear evenly. Higher pressures will give you better fuel mileage, but shorter tire life due to the centers wearing out. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Exactly what Harry said, but I run mine at 25-26 front and rear for even wear.

Yeah, you will probably end up with something in the upper 20's. The bigger your tires, the less pressure you should run. The weight of the vehicle is fixed, but the size of the contact patch is increasing. Since you have more square inches, you need fewer psi to support the weight.

<font color="green">Thanks guys...Trial and error I guess...Definitely don't want them to wear out to quick...Gas mileage is a bit of a concern but not too much...

There was a post a while back about testing tire pressure by checking cold pressure, then heating the tires up and measuring again. Over or underinflated tires heat up too much and the pressures get too high. I think it was Grim that posted it

    Harry,

    Is that psi measurement cold?

What about your Burb? My 91V2500 has 6" lift and 35" X-Terrains............wondering what air pressure is optimum for a /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif
