well my burb was jacked sunday night (if anyone in MD/VA area sees a silver 91 burb w/ flames lemme know) but more importantly i think im gonna need a new truck. I kinda wanna get a gen before the 73 because i like that look, but dont know too much about it. Just looking for some info on the oldschool trucks and how they run and would they be alright to drive backforth to school MD-Syracuse NY area.... any help would be great thanks folks... tom

Look long and hard for rust. I love that body style, but they're all rotten as hell around here!

1st gens rock da house! As far as reliability goes, they are only as reliable as you are in your upkeep. Of course newer is better as far as reliability, but nothing beats the classic look of the 1st gens. As for me, mine is my DD and I just drove it 2 miles this weekend and it was the first time I had driven it since August. I guess I am a little behind in my maintainence. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
