Instead of a carb why don't you go with a tbi? Or even a TPI. I know a guy here who specializes in TPI systems. He sells them for $500 and it is 100% complete. Everything you need to swap it over. That would be a fun way to spend $600 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If I had money to spend, the things I would look at:

That TPI for $500 sounds good
springer suspension(I don't know how much that costs)
front axle upgrade. Be it down payment on a 60 or CM shafts.
Dump the glass packs & redo the exhaust with flowmaster.
nice seats(but that's low on the priority list)
    LOCKER

But if your drivertrain is where you want it:
    cool steering wheel
    seats
    stereo
bumper with jerry can mount, hi lift mount, & swing out tire carrier
    winch
    I could keep going but I won't.

the springer kit is $533, and add a dee-troit to the rear of your rig, along with the flex from Marv's system and its a whole new world!

Below is a shameless plug for Marv Springer Suspension Systems:

more detailed info about the current state of ur rig would help. In general, I'd prolly prefer the tpi or an axle upgrade of some kind.... though if u already have that stuff there is always x-over steering, hydro steering, spring lifts etc. A roll cage or new bumpers might be a good idea... safety is always good...

saftey is driving 2 tons of metal with seat belts

actually, id like some new seatbelts...mabye 3 point? anyone know where to get seats & belts for that?

the top of a normal rig will fold like a wet paper bag in a serious roll... and you're mangled bloody body will be all wraped up in that "2 tons of steel". bad times. cage = good...death = bad.

if u have a good local fab shop and a pic of what u want, u could prolly get a bumper and still have $ left over for 5-point harnesses...

Do you not have 3 points right now? If you only have lap belts, you really need at least 3 points...
