what to pay for a 205

    What would you expect to pay for an NP205 t-case? there is a guy in my area selling one and i was just wondering. what all would i need to put it into my 73 with a TH-350 and an NP203?

    I just seen a 205/465 with the driveshafts for $225 in the local paper.
    If it was'nt for the axle that I am going to get I would snatch it up.

    you gotta be real careful that can be a b!tch. people are gonna say that the 205 never came on a th350, but it did, and i had one, so if you getlucky the splines will match up, other wise i think that advanced adapters makees something for you.
    p.s. i pulled my 205 outa a 73 stock 1500 with 350/350. it can be done.

    All 4wd GMs came with the 205 in 1980. K5s &amp; 1/2 tons w/ autos had the TH350/NP205 and 3/4 &amp; 1 tons w/ autos had the TH400/NP205. Only draw back is that they were built with slip yokes.

    I'm about to buy a SM465/205 with bellhouseing, crossmember, and shafts for $450.
