what would be better doubler or front and rear lockers.

    Im thinking abought what to do next Im doing the d60 14 axle swap now and was wondering what next should I get a doubler or detroit lockers front and back.

    I think I would go lockers first. more "grunt" isn't gona help you if you don't have the traction to put it to the ground anyway.

    Lockers first /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif The 4:1 low range would be almost a waste with open difs /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    I was thinking detroit on both ends and a twin stick for the transfer case.

    I've heard Detroits up front suck sometimes. I welded my rear and will do some kind of locker in the front that can be disengaged. ARB, Electrac, whatever.

    I think the big issue is driving in snow and the loss of turning radis. we dont get alot of snow here so I dont think it will be a big problem and Im hoping the with cross over and Hydro steering that I wont have a problem getting her to turn.
