I have a set of the M/T Baja Belted 35/17.50/15 tires, with less then 2000 miles on them.
Well about two days ago i noticed my front tire abou to call off, so i pulled tire off, replaced studs, and wheel and so on.
    But MY PROBLEM IS
i noticed my tires had a solid crack line around the side wall, like they were dry rotted, every tire is like that
The front tire has a peice of white rubber pocking out a small whole.
    what does this mean?
do i have to get new tires?
Does M/T Have any warrenty for this kinda thing? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I'd go to the tire store you bought them from (with receipt in hand) and raise some hell about it.

How long ago did you buy them? If it hasn't been too long I'd take em back and raise some hell.

Sounds like your tires are scrubing somewhere if its on the inside of the tires. I had this prob with my 16x8's but some 16x10's fixed that prob also M/T baja's kinda have a bad rep down here for wobbling really bad and the bigger the tires the worse it happens. My cuz had some 38 Baja's and they went crazy going down the highway and i know of a few more ppl that has happened too. but then i know some ppl that havent had any probs so idk but id check out if they are rubbin somewhere.. /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif www.zombieoffroading.8m.net

    ok thanks guys
i know they arent rubbing any where, and i run them on a 14/15 wheel
i run the amount of air it calls for to run true flat, they roll great down the road for being a big tire, not alot of wonder, or anything
i cant take them back, beacuse the owner is an ex best friend, and calls the cops if i go around the place, but thats another story
just wasnt sure if anyone had the same prob i did
i guess this is my excuse for new tires anyway
    "ahem" sx's

Is he a dealer? Or you bought them from him personally? If you have a reciept that says you bought the tires from him and he owns a shop or works at a shop selling tires the cops don't have much say. You have a legal transaction and the tires ought to be covered by warranty.

Look here this from M/Ts web site:
    20. Q: What kind of warranty is on my Mickey Thompson tires?
A: All D.O.T. approved tires are warranted against defects in material and workmanship on a pro-rated basis. Consult the Mickey Thompson adjustment policy for details

Here is the link if you want to contact them direct http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/faq_offroad.html#faq20

Him saying there is no warranty sounds like a bunch of BS to me. Everything you buy has a warranty of some kind. There are always manufacturer warranties against defective items. If you bought these new and have only the mileage you say I would be making a call to the better business bureau if your ex-friend doesn't want to help you.
