I stepped outside today on my way to work and found my 89 Jeep had been ransacked all my storage compartments were dumped on the passenger seat and yet the glove box and center console were left untouched. Basicly they got the little coin pockets and ash tray stuff.

Heres what they could of had...
    Glove box-
    digital tire pressure gauge
    shackle hook
brand new MAP sensor and O2 sensor
    registration

    center console-
bank statement from cashing fridays paycheck
    kodiak camera
    toothbrush,LOL
    all kinds of paperwork
    misc. cd's

    Drivers door pocket-
craftsman 1/2 racket and 4 sockets (use to change my wheels)

next to drivers seat-(can't see it unless you open the door-

    swevil head snap on racket($120)
    all my cd's
two pairs of smith and wesson shooting glasses

I also had in the back from my thursday trip to Hood River/portland/salem was a th350 and 5 rims, also a bellhousing for a 465.
also there was a sub box with 2 JL12w6's

All they got away with was.......

less then $2.00 in change. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

i actaully sat down in the drivers eat and was like.. WTF!!!! i don't remember putting that [censored] in the passenger seat. /forums/images/icons/confused.gif
then i realized what had happened and then looked in the glove box and console for the real goods and had to look at the pileof [censored] for what was actually missing which was only pennies and maybe a nickle or two.. lol

    time for an A Larm,lol

Be happy they didn't take the whole Cherokee. In some states the law give 10 years for stealing the car stereo, but only 5 years for stealing the whole car. So ya see alot of the whole cars being stolden and striped. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

Sounds like some poor SOB needed bus fare to me... I had a roomate in college that actually withdrew $0.38 from his savings account when he was short on bus fare. It just so happened that the bus stop was right in front of his bank. Sean always was a little freaky.....maybe it was him. He does live in Eugene now...LOL! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
