Were there specific years and models that had the fixed yoke 205 instead of the slip yoke, or were they mixed up? (IE, where should I look at to find a fixed yoke ?)

1979 and earlier should have the fixed yoke.

Mine is an 82 and it's fixed yoke. I thought 1980 was the only year that had a slip yoke 205.

Like Harry said, '79 and older are all fixed yokes.

'80 and newer 205's have the slip yokes, EXCEPT FOR, the crew cab K30's, which most have the fixed yokes.
