A year or two back, there was someone on the board that had been given a title to a 74 or so K5 by his father. The truck had been stolen not long after the father bought it new. He gave the son the title for his 16th birthday(or somethign like that) and said if it is ever found, he can have it. Then a few weeks later they got a call saying the K5 had been found in a build with very little miles on it and it was untouched.....

    Anyone know?

 Hmm, this story actually sounds pretty believable. I'd like to hear more about this.---NOT!

If anything, that K5 would've surely been parted out by now or thrown in the crusher.

I do remember reading the post. Just cant remember the username. Unless it was an urban legend and someone yanking our chains.

Maybe Rene or Canmore will remember.....

i wouldnt either. i'd rather talk about cartoons and church than to hear some boring old story about how some kid's dad gave him a long lost truck, only to be discovered shortly thereafter intact, unmolested and with low miles on it. :screwy:

here's another interesting read, although it appears to be BS.
