I have a line on a 465/205 that would look damn purty in my 73 K5. What's it worth? If I gave him the TH350 and an old 8000lb Warn winch for a trade would that seem about right?

    thanks

    Nate

I have sold different SM465/205 setups before for between $250 and $400. I've bought them before for around $200. The 465/205 that I put in my Suburban ended up costing me $35 in the long run (after I parted out the truck it was in).

I agree with $200 (and it better have a good adapter) especially if you can't hear it run.

Not like they break very often, but there can ALWAYS be problems on something that old.

Can someone tell me why on earth i paid 750 stupid bucks for my 465/205. Sure he pulled the thing out of the doner truck and gave me a hydro clutch set-up out of a blazer. But 200 bucks is nice and cheap. I guess i should have kept looking, oh well that was a couple of years ago when i was new, you could call me a recovering high price payer.

no more than $300 and that winch (if in good repair) is worth at least $500
