I have an 89 GMC Jimmy 10 bolt rear, I need to add a 4deg shim on my rear springs to get the pinion angle correct and I will need new center pins.
What size are they for the rear?
Is it the same size for the front?

3/8 front and back on my truck. I'm running skyjacker front and tuff country rear springs. I don't remembe if stock springs are the same, but I think so.

Not to change the subject, but do the shims get bolted to the spring pack? I am putting shims on my Jimmy and i thought they just sat in there like a lift block would?

I went throught this a couple of weeks ago. I uses some 3/8's grade 8 bolts and rounded the heads off so they would fit in the spring preches. the head of the bolt was 9/16 IIRC. I got them at OSH I think they were 4.5" or 4" long.
